In October 2009, the “The World Heritage of Bulgaria” encyclopedia was published by the Professor Marin Drinov Publishing House of BAS. The encyclopedia presents the Bulgarian sites included in UNESCO’s world cultural and natural heritage list. The publication is bilingual – in Bulgarian and in English, and richly illustrated.

On June 1, 2005, the encyclopedic portal www.znam.bg was launched. With it, an online edition of the “BULGARIAN ENCYCLOPEDIA A-Z” became available. Licences to use the online edition and Bulgarian Encyclopedia A-Z’s second electronic edition are provided to all Bulgarian schools by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Education and Science.
