The European Encyclopedia Network (EEN) is an international organisation that aims to contribute to the role of encyclopedias in providing access to reliable and verified information and preserving the national and cultural identity of European countries.
Bulgarian Encyclopaedia Scientific Information Centre participated in the creation of the network in 2022 at the European and North American Encyclopedia Conference in Zagreb. Members of EEN have the opportunity to exchange experiences on the current state and operating models of encyclopedias, potential areas for improvement, and the technical and financial sustainability of various projects.
