In May 2009, the “Aprilov Collection” encyclopedia was published. It was released with the financial support of the “13 Centuries Bulgaria” National Endowment Fund. It contains information about Vasil Aprilov and the personalities, events and activities related to him, revealing the national scale and importance of his cultural and educational work. The encyclopedia is dedicated to the 220th anniversary of Vasil Aprilov’s borth and the 140th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The release of “Aprilov Collection” was accompanied by positive reviews in “Trud” and “Duma” newspapers and in the Gabrovo media. The book was awarded by Gabrovo Municipality in 2009.
