THREE-VOLUME PHYSICAL-MATHEMATICAL AND TECHNICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA
The first Bulgarian scientific and technical encyclopedia is a three-volume scientific reference publication intended for the widest range of readers. The basic modern knowledge and achievements in the fields of mathematics, physics, astronomy, geodesy, geophysics, chemistry, geology and technical sciences are presented in a short encyclopedic form. Special attention is paid to scientific and technical terminology. “Physico-mathematical and technical encyclopedia” contains about 19,000 articles and 5,000 illustrations, diagrams and tables. The three volumes of the publication were realized by the team of the Scientific Information Center “Bulgarian Encyclopedia” at the BAS and a team of scientists under the leadership of academician B. Petkanchin (T. I) and member-cor. P. Markov (T. II and T. III) in partnership with academic publishing house “Prof. Marin Drinov”.
