NC “Bulgarian Encyclopedia” at BAS held its traditional intern scientific seminar “Practical application of educational content. Creation of information resources for “Bulgarian Encyclopedia”. The forum presents the developments of student interns, prepared under Project BG05M2OP001-2.013-0001 “Student internships – phase 2” under the guidance of mentors and academic mentors. The goal of the project is to train young people to skillfully select and handle diverse information in order to create quality and reliable encyclopedic information resources using modern methods.
21 students from SU “St. Kliment Ohridski”, University of Mining and Geology “St. Ivan Rilski”, the Medical University – Sofia, the National Academy of Arts, the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski”, New Bulgarian University and the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy. Reports were presented by three academic mentors from NBU and Moscow State University and two mentors. The main topics were in the fields of literature, culture and heritage conservation, art, ecology, socio-economic geography, medicine and architecture.
According to the current phase of the project, 333 students from 15 higher education institutions have successfully completed their internship at NCBE, and 23 students are currently working. The presented materials will be published in a separate volume of the series “Student Educational and Scientific Forums”, ISSN 1314-6572.
